Felicia Williams joined the operator Penn National Gaming as CFO in January 2020. Previously, she served as CFO of Claris, a B2B software subsidiary of Apple known as FileMaker.
Williams has agreed to remain with the company in a temporary advisory role to ensure a smooth transition. Reflecting on her departure, she described her time at Penn National as a roller coaster ride, starting with the excitement of announcing a partnership with Barstool Sports but quickly followed by the temporary shutdown of all operating assets due to the pandemic.
Despite the challenges of remote work and the strain of relocating her family during the COVID-19 pandemic, Williams is proud of how the company responded to the unprecedented challenges and her contribution to raising over $1 billion in new equity to weather the storm.
Penn National’s president and CEO, Jay Snowden, expressed his admiration for Williams and her deep knowledge of the gaming industry. He is confident in her ability to hit the ground running in her new role as CFO and is delighted to have her officially join the Penn National Gaming family.
