In her new role, Teresa Fiore will work directly with Epic partners to minimize harm across all forms of gambling. She also joins the gambling harm minimization consultancy’s senior management team.
Fiore recently served as the manager of responsible gambling and CSR at PointsBet, where she developed a responsible gambling program across 14 US states and Ontario for the operator’s sportsbook and online casino.
Prior to this, Fiore was the program manager of research and responsible gaming for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. She also has experience working with Envirosell and Verité.
“I’m very excited to start as the VP of partnerships, overseeing the growth in the US market, which is obviously a huge opportunity for Epic,” Fiore said. “I have known and think very highly of the Epic team for a number of years. We are very much aligned in our thinking and approach to safer gambling.”
Epic CEO Paul Buck expressed his delight with the appointment, stating, “This appointment is a key marker of the expansion that Epic continues to make within the US. We’re delighted to bring Teresa’s extensive knowledge and vital experience into our organization. We value the perspective that she can bring from both a regulatory and industry angle.”
