This comes seven months after the departure of former CEO Richard Carter, who left the role amid a strategic review of the company in November 2021.
Before joining Bragg, Yaniv Sherman served as the SVP and head of the US for 888 from 2018 to 2021.
During his tenure, Sherman spearheaded a 15-year joint venture that granted 888 access to the Sports Illustrated brand across the United States.
He also led successful partnerships with Caesars and the Delaware Lottery.
Prior to his role at 888, Sherman held the position of head of commercial development at the operator, where he oversaw corporate development, B2B, and market research.
Paul Godfrey, chairman of Bragg’s board, expressed his delight in welcoming Yaniv Sherman as the new CEO of Bragg Gaming Group.
Godfrey highlighted Sherman’s extensive industry experience, strong record of success, and many years of senior management leadership at a leading global iGaming operator.
Sherman’s appointment brings the strategic review process to a close and represents the company’s commitment to utilizing its vast array of assets for long-term organic growth and shareholder value.
Sherman will officially assume the role of CEO on 1 July.
Expressing his excitement, Sherman stated that he is honored to join Bragg’s strong and deep leadership team and looks forward to driving the company’s ongoing growth in collaboration with the board, management, and partners.
He emphasized the pursuit of exciting opportunities that will deliver continuous revenue and cash flow growth.
