Smart Picks’ technology is designed to help marketing-affiliates in the betting industry make more informed decisions. With the use of historical statistics and betting data, Smart Picks provides insights on teams that have been performing above or below expectations. This technology is based on Checkd Dev’s Smart Acca, which has been successfully utilized in the Betting Hub app by Checkd Group. By using Smart Picks, marketing-affiliates can assist users in making selections across moneyline, spread, and total markets for the National Football League and the National Basketball Association.
The tool offers various filtering options, allowing players to focus on different aspects such as all matches in the current season, the last five fixtures, home and away games, or head-to-head matchups.
Adam Patton, the managing director for Checkd Dev, emphasized the significance of the North American region for the company’s future. He stated, “North America is a key strategic region for Checkd Dev. With the development of Smart Picks, we are incorporating our successful UK market experience and tailoring it to suit the regional betting preferences.” Patton also added, “Smart Picks is just the beginning, as we plan to expand the range of supported sports in the upcoming months.”
The launch of Smart Picks marks another achievement for the FlashPicks brand, which has gained popularity among sports bettors within a year since its introduction. Checkd Group introduced the FlashPicks brand in February 2022, and later obtained an Ontario affiliate license in September 2022 to offer FlashPicks to Canadian players. In a recent appointment, igaming professional Andrew Grimshaw joined as the commercial director of Checkd Dev division, further strengthening the team.
