As an official partner of MLB Players, MGM Resorts will have the privilege of utilizing players’ branding and group marketing rights for various print and digital promotions, advertisements, and sweepstakes. This partnership extends to the US, China, and Japan.
MGM Resorts will become a participating partner of MLB Players’ Players House hospitality space at each season’s MLB All-Star Game, and will also be recognized as an official offseason destination for MLB Players. This includes special benefits for players who choose to stay at MGM Resorts properties.
Furthermore, players represented by MLB Players will have the opportunity to enter individual ambassador agreements with MGM Resorts. This entails promoting the brand through appearances, social media posts, autographed memorabilia, and advertisements.
“This new partnership strengthens our commitment to the sport of baseball in the US and around the globe,” said Lance Evans, MGM Resorts’ Senior Vice President of Sports and Sponsorships. “We welcome MLB Players to our world-class resorts and aim to create unique player experiences for our valued MGM Rewards members.”
Evan Kaplan, Managing Director of MLB Players, added, “This agreement forms a partnership between Major League Baseball players and a company that is renowned for its exceptional hotels and entertainment. MGM Resorts’ global presence will also contribute to strengthening the bond between baseball’s international fan base and our players.”
