Under the new agreement, Time2play will promote Gamban as a service to support players suffering with gambling-related problems.
Gamban runs as an application that blocks all online gambling websites when installed on a device.
Time2play will cover the cost of Gamban for any player that signs up through its site.
Time2play co-founder Tim Tepass said, “We can’t say that we are ‘for the user’ without considering the implications of our product on problem gamblers.”
“While most of our visitors are casual players looking for information on a casino, some could be at higher risk of gambling addiction,” Tepass added.
Time2play aims to support those at risk of addiction, and this collaboration with Gamban is just the beginning of their efforts.
Gamban co-founder Jack Symons emphasized the importance of players being aware of support resources if their gambling gets out of control.
He believes marketing affiliates can play a crucial role in making these resources more visible and accessible to players.
Through better visibility and accessibility of support resources, Time2play aims to raise standards for affiliates in reducing gambling harm.
