Ohio is scheduled to open its legal sports betting market on January 1, 2023.
The Bengals have recently applied for a sports betting license in Ohio, making them the first professional sports team to do so.
If granted the license, the franchise would be able to offer an online product as a type-A sports gaming proprietor.
Bengals vice-president and chief marketing officer, Brian Sells, shared that the partnership with Betfred will enhance the fan experience and provide additional ways to engage with fans.
He also expressed excitement about collaborating with Betfred to create fan-focused activations that add to the game day excitement.
Betfred Group chief operating officer Mark Stebbings sees this as a fantastic opportunity to partner with the Bengals and expand Betfred’s presence in Ohio.
He highlighted the Bengals’ premier franchise status, passionate fanbase, and history of innovation as factors that align well with the Betfred brand.
Stebbings also mentioned the company’s intention to introduce unique betting promotions and content to engage fans across the state.
