As part of a three-year agreement, Betano has become the first sleeve sponsor for a team, featuring its brand on the sleeves of players’ shirts. Betano has also become the official betting sponsor for the team and will collaborate with Benfica on various features and activations across the club’s official platforms.

Benfica chief executive Domingos Soares de Oliveira added, “This partnership brings a new dimension to the club with a well-established brand in sports and entertainment. Betano stands out for its innovation, particularly in the digital area, which aligns with our values.”
In June, Betano also became the premium sponsor of Portuguese Primeira Liga football club Sporting Lisbon. During the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, Betano branding will appear on the front of first team players’ shirts. Furthermore, Betano secured its first commercial deal outside of Europe by becoming the main sponsor for Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football team Clube Atlético Mineiro.
