Betano has entered into a commercial partnership with a sports team in Brazil, marking their first such collaboration outside of Europe. As part of the agreement, Betano branding will be prominently featured on the players’ shirts throughout the 2021 season. Betano already has partnerships with other football clubs across various countries, including SC Braga and CS Marítimo in Portugal, PAOK and Olympiacos in Greece, Apollon Limassol and Pafos in Cyprus, and Universitatea Craiova and FSCB in Romania.

Additionally, Betano aims to enhance its social responsibility plan in Brazil as part of this partnership. Betano is operated by Kaizen Investment and operates in Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Greece, and Cyprus. OPAP, owned by Sazka, holds a 36.75% stake in Kaizen’s business. OPAP further expanded its ownership in Stoiximan Group’s Greek and Cypriot operations by acquiring an additional 15.48% stake, bringing its total stake to 84.48%.
