Pazner discussed 888’s potential for international growth after acquiring William Hill, giving them control over three brands: 888, Mr Green, and William Hill, in various markets.
The brand strategy involves targeted investments in brands with the highest growth potential in each market, while reducing investments in brands with lower potential.
Efforts to reduce focus on less successful brands will begin in Q4 of this year.
888 initially agreed to acquire the non-US business of William Hill in September 2021, with a reduced purchase price of £584.9m.
888’s revenue dropped by 13.1% in the first half of the year, partly due to safer gambling controls implemented in the UK ahead of the Gambling Act review.
888 aims for international expansion, launching in Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, and Mozambique with a focus on sports betting.
The company plans to relaunch in the Netherlands in Q4 after exiting the market in October last year.
