Allwyn has appointed Dara Nasr, a digital communications leader with experience at Twitter and Google, to help them revolutionize their customer communication in the lottery industry. Nasr believes that social media platforms, along with the prevalence of mobile devices, provide an opportunity for companies to establish a close and constant relationship with their customers. Allwyn’s parent company, Sazka Group, has already seen impressive sales growth in both online and retail sectors by adopting a digital approach to lotteries across Europe.
With their bid for the fourth National Lottery license underway, Allwyn is excited to have Nasr and his expertise on board. They understand the significance of digital and social media in the lottery industry, as demonstrated by their sister companies. Sazka Group was the first to participate in the tender, and they have also appointed successful entrepreneurs, Sir Keith Mills and Brent Hoberman, to their team. Italian lottery operator Sisal has also joined the race for the license.
