Dr. Beat Vonlanthen has been replaced by Pfister as the new president of the Swiss Casino Association (SCV).
Vonlanthen presided over the casino games for a duration of four years.

The recent legislation permits casino operators in Switzerland to provide online casino games.
During the meeting at Casinò Lugano, eight additional board members were elected.
New board members include chairmen from the following casinos:
- Grand Casino Luzern
- Casinò Lugano
- Grand Casino Baden
- Casino Bern and Neuchâtel
Other members of the board are directors and vice presidents of various Swiss casinos.
