The GBG High Street Hub at ICE London 2023 will showcase licensed street gaming with contributions and insights from top brands like Novomatic UK, Entain, Buzz Bingo, Merkur UK, and GameNation. The hub will be located near the Pillar Hall Casino, which serves as a networking space and bar for the land-based industry. Visitors can explore the latest developments in the street gaming sector during the event, which takes place from 7-9 February at the ExCeL London.
“ICE London 2023 will be the largest edition yet, and we are excited to have a dedicated section for the street gaming sector,” said Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming. “Our collaboration with the Gambling Business Group in delivering the Hub is an example of our commitment to the industry. It will be a standout feature for industry professionals attending ICE London.”
Peter Hannibal, chief executive and co-founder of the Gambling Business Group, stated that licensed street operators play a significant role in local and regional economies worldwide. The Hub aims to stimulate informed discussions about the sector, focusing on topics such as responsible gambling, technology in street operations, staff development, customer experience enhancement, licensing, and the law. The Hub also provides an opportunity to engage with governmental agencies and international regulators.
In other news, the youth-orientated nonprofit Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) has been announced as the official charity partner of ICE London 2023. YGAM works to educate and protect young people from gambling-related harms.
The organization will also be the official charity partner at the InnovateChange Affiliate London Awards.
