The Czech Republic-headquartered developer, Synot, has been granted a permit to supply its games to players in the UK. This is a significant step for the company as the UKGC has strict regulations to comply with. Synot is already certified by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and operates in several European jurisdictions, including Italy, Spain, and Greece.
Ivan Kodaj, Synot’s chief executive, expressed his excitement about the licence being granted, stating that the company is now able to integrate its slot offer with online casino operators in the UK. Synot aims to make new partnerships in the UK a strategic priority in 2021.
Martina Hrabinská, Synot’s chief commercial officer, mentioned that their sales team will focus on reaching out to UK-based customers and gaining exposure to as many players as possible throughout the country. Synot is eager to launch its exceptional slot games in the UK.
In the past, Synot Group supplied 25,000 video lottery terminal (VLT) machines to OPAP in Greece, solidifying its position in the market. Additionally, the company was awarded licences in Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden in 2019.
