Irish business SportCaller is a leading provider of predictions, trivia, pay-to-play, and bespoke free-to-play (F2P) content to sportsbook operators and media businesses worldwide. The terms of the recent deal with Bally’s have not been disclosed. SportCaller has experienced rapid client signups in the US, collaborating with top industry leaders such as FanDuel, BetMGM, Betfred, Kindred Group, and Scientific Games’ OpenMarket aggregator.
Bally’s acquisition of SportCaller is a strategic move that complements its previous deals for sportsbook technology platform Bet.Works (November 2020) and daily fantasy business Monkey Knife Fight (January 2021). Upon completion of the acquisition, SportCaller will become part of Bally’s Interactive division led by founder David Wang. Leveraging Bet.Works’ technology stack, Bally’s plans to introduce a range of F2P games this year. The partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group will be instrumental in expanding the player database in states where sports betting is not yet legal. In states with legal sports betting, SportCaller’s F2P expertise will enhance player engagement and retention while expanding Bally’s presence in non-US markets.
“I am delighted to welcome SportCaller to Bally’s Interactive alongside Bet.Works and Monkey Knife Fight,” remarked Bally’s President and CEO George Papanier.
