The acquisition agreement between Acroud and PMG includes the ownership transfer of the Matching Visions igaming affiliate network, B2B software provider Voonix, and affiliate campaign specialist Traffic Grid. The deal also includes an earn-out consideration based on EBITDA achieved in 2022.
Acroud predicts PMG’s sales to range between $10.0m and $11.0m for this year. The completion of the acquisition is dependent on the two parties entering into a definitive purchase agreement, with a target to finalize the deal by the end of 2020.
“This acquisition is a significant step towards Acroud’s strategic goal of becoming ‘the media house of the future.’ It will establish us as a rapidly growing global competitor in digital comparison and news services,” commented Robert Andersson, the President and CEO of Acroud.
In addition to this agreement, Acroud recently signed another deal to acquire an unnamed US tipster company for €2.2m. These acquisitions, along with the previously announced agreement to purchase a lead generation company in sports betting, will enhance Acroud’s position as a B2B provider of igaming affiliate campaigns and software solutions.
Andersson emphasized the transformative nature of these three acquisitions and expressed the company’s focus on operational excellence in developing the new Acroud with their new team and partners.
Last week, Acroud (formerly known as Net Gaming) reported a 31% decline in revenue for the third quarter, attributed to lower poker and casino traffic and a decrease in new depositing customers.
