Having acquired a 19.99% stake in Mindway AI, a business that develops software using artificial intelligence and neuroscience for identifying and preventing problem gambling, Better Collective now owns approximately 90% of the company. The remaining 10% stake is held by Kim Mouridsen, the founder of Mindway and a professor at Denmark’s Aarhus University.
This investment supports Better Collective’s commitment to promoting responsible gambling. CEO Jesper Søgaard stated that responsible gambling is a top priority for the company and that they see Mindway AI’s technologies and software solutions as leading the way in this area.
Under the new ownership, Rasmus Kjærgaard will continue as CEO of Mindway AI, having played a crucial role in commercializing the business. The company’s solutions, including GameScanner, Gamalyze, and GameChanger, have already been adopted by major gaming businesses such as Entain, Flutter Entertainment, and Holland Casino.
Kim Mouridsen will also remain involved in Mindway AI as Chief Scientific Officer. The business will operate as a standalone entity within the Better Collective Group.
Rasmus Kjærgaard expressed his excitement about joining the Better Collective Group, stating that they share the same purpose and values in creating a safe and sustainable betting and gambling environment.
This investment will allow Mindway AI to further accelerate its growth and expand its global presence.
