The agreement between Sportsbet, RMG, and SIS will allow Sportsbet to broadcast and accept bets on British and Irish racing events. In addition, Sportsbet’s digital platforms will stream thoroughbred racing, which is already shown on Tabcorp’s Sky Racing network in the TAB app, as well as in venues and homes.
RMG, owned by 34 British racecourses, and SIS, which holds the rights to all 26 Irish racecourses and Chelmsford City, are grateful to Tabcorp for facilitating the partnership and expanding the distribution of the Sky Racing channel. This collaboration provides an exciting opportunity to showcase racecourses and generate additional international revenue.
Paul Bittar, general manager of sports partnerships at Sportsbet, expressed enthusiasm about concluding this deal with RMG and SIS. The inclusion of live streaming of British and Irish racing events will greatly benefit Sportsbet’s large customer base in Australia. Sportsbet aims to bring excitement to its customers and supporting the sustainability of the British and Irish racing industries through new revenues.
