We are going to the German city of Hamburg where we will have this duel between the Kazakh Bublik and the Russian Rublev.
I am confident of a quick victory of Rublev in what is a clear layeo to Bublik. The Kazakh was playing yesterday the final in the United States of the Newport tournament where he lost a tight final to Cressy.
That tournament was played on very different conditions to those you will find tomorrow, Newport was played on grass and Hamburg kicks off the dollarpea clay court tour prior to the US hard tour.
Bublik is allergic to clay conditions and rarely gets involved, even more so when he arrives with accumulated tiredness and no adaptation time. Not only is he going to this tournament in bad conditions, but on top of that, the American hard tour is just around the corner, where he will be one of the protagonists.
I'm waiting for a check pick up from the Kazakh before he takes a vacation and goes back to the USA.
